Educational assistance, tuition reduction for spouses and dependents, vacations, holidays, personal days and sick leave are some of the well-known benefits MU offers its employees. However, faculty and staff may not be aware of additional employment perks.
A couple of years ago, the MU Staff Advisory Council’s publicity and promotions committee members asked departments campuswide for a list of discounts they offer to employees for merchandise and services. The council compiled the list under the title “Hidden Benefits.”
In addition, the University of Missouri System Staff Advisory Council has put together a list of discounts and special offers for staff on all four UM campuses.
