Don’t get flattened by the flu

If faculty and staff haven’t done so, there’s still a chance to get a Healthy for Life flu shot on campus as well as a health screening. The T.E. Atkins University of Missouri Wellness Program will offer free flu vaccines for faculty, staff, dependents and retirees enrolled in a UM Health Care Program at these times and locations:

  • 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Nov. 10; Conference Room of the MU Police Department, Virginia Avenue Parking Garage
  • 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10; Townsend Hall
  • 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11; 194A and B, Campus Facilities lobby

The shots are free for enrollees in a UM Health Care Program. If you are not enrolled, the cost is $15, cash or check only. Children must be 12 years and older to receive the vaccine. Flu vaccine forms can be completed by going to wellness.umsystem.edu.

Free health screenings for those enrolled in UM System Health Care Program will be available at the Townsend Hall and Campus Facilities locations.
