A business start-up seminar designed specifically for those who are thinking about a new venture will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in W1004 Lafferre Hall. Participants will learn about the importance of planning, discuss the basic legal and regulatory requirements, such as legal structures, licensing and tax form requirements.
Those attending will also be introduced to marketing and financial basics, which will enable one to determine market and competitive strategy.
