Microsoft Camp on deck

Microsoft Camp kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 25, with a day of Microsoft speakers addressing the Imagine Cup international competition, mobile device development, battling botnets, Xbox uses in education and free instructional multimedia software.

Microsoft short courses will be offered for the remainder of the week and cover topics in Access, Word, Outlook, Communicator, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, Windows 7 and InfoPath. The condensed, accelerated offerings are not always offered on a regular training schedule. They will also provide attendees with tips and tricks. All short courses are limited to 15 seats. All Microsoft Camp events are free for faculty, staff and students. Cost is $50 per seat for Microsoft’s speakers and $44 to $89 per short-course seat.
