Study abroad help available

The University of Missouri offers some 400 study abroad programs in more than 60 countries. Developing and leading a group of students as they study and travel in a foreign country requires a lot of preparation.

Get some help at the Study Abroad Program Development Seminar, Friday, Oct. 1 from 2-5 p.m in N52 Memorial Union.

Sponsored by the MU International Center, the workshop will provide detailed information about developing and administering a study abroad program. The program will include discussions on program creation, location and timing, curriculum, and fiscal and administrative issues.

The workshop also provides an opportunity to network with faculty and staff members who are familiar with running faculty-led study abroad programs. RSVP by Sept. 27 by contacting Jason Kinnear at kinnearj@missouri.edu.
