Two years after he was crowned winner of the popular NBC show “America’s Got Talent,” Neal E. Boyd visits his alma mater for a performance at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Jesse Auditorium.
A Sikeston, Mo., native and 2001 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Music, Boyd will be accompanied by musicians from the School of Music. His debut CD, My American Dream, features favorites such as “Ave Maria”, “Amazing Grace” and “Somewhere” from West Side Story. A reception hosted by Chancellor Brady J. Deaton will held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Reynolds Journalism Institute.
