The MU men’s and women’s basketball teams will gather at 7 p.m. Friday in Mizzou Arena for an evening of events and prizes. All are welcome to attend the free event, where fans can watch team scrimmages and the dunk, 2-ball and skills contests.
One fan will get a chance to make a half-court basket and win $10,000.
The Big 12 tournament championship 2011–12 banner will be raised and fastened in the arena.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., giving fans plenty of time to collect autographs before the events.
ESPNU and ESPN3 plan to broadcast the event live.
