First Generation, a documentary on four university students from low-income households, will be shown at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 2 in Memorial Union’s Jesse Wrench Auditorium.
Discussion with filmmakers and current MU first-generation students follows the Nov. 2 screening, 10:15 a.m.–noon in Stotler Lounge.
The film was shot over three years and includes interviews with top higher education officials.
