The MU International Center will host a Health, Safety and Security Workshop at 2 p.m. Dec 3. in N52 Memorial Union.
All faculty, staff and student assistants who lead study abroad programs are required to attend the workshop every other year.
The workshop aims to increase faculty program directors’ awareness of resources and support available through the International Center.
Presenters will cover:
- Individual and institutional liability concerns;
- Best practices for study abroad programming;
- Student management issues;
- Student conduct;
- Student emergencies.
