A Mizzou Weekly story appearing May 1 on the General Faculty meeting April 23 incorrectly reported that a concern of Faculty Council Chair Craig Roberts was that midterm faculty raises were given disproportionately to STEM faculty. Actually, Roberts’ concern is that the midterm raises, in his view, were based almost entirely on the four metrics of the Association of American Universities, which tend to favor research over teaching and the type of work performed by MU Extension.
