Don’t get flattened by the flu

If faculty and staff haven’t done so, there’s still a chance to get a Healthy for Life flu shot on campus as well as a health screening. The T.E. Atkins University of Missouri Wellness Program will offer free flu vaccines for faculty, staff, dependents and retirees enrolled in a UM Health Care Program at these times and locations:

  • 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Nov. 10; Conference Room of the MU Police Department, Virginia Avenue Parking Garage
  • 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10; Townsend Hall
  • 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11; 194A and B, Campus Facilities lobby

The shots are free for enrollees in a UM Health Care Program. If you are not enrolled, the cost is $15, cash or check only. Children must be 12 years and older to receive the vaccine. Flu vaccine forms can be completed by going to
